About us - Daniel Gadus and the history of Bidmio ERP system
My name is Daniel Gadus and I am the founder and lead developer of Bidmio – a modern ERP tool designed for construction companies, contractors, and service businesses.
My journey to developing this system didn't start in IT, but on construction sites. I worked for years as a painter, ran my own business, struggled with paperwork, chaotic planning, and endless information hunting.

Problems every contractor knows
I'm from Slovakia and in 2009 I started my own painting company DANMAG in Denmark. I started completely alone. Gradually I built a reputation, hired people, got more and more projects. But with growth came problems:
At first I solved it with Excel, then via Google Sheets, later via various partial apps. But none of it matched what I really needed as the owner of a construction company.

Founding DANMAG
I started as a painter in Denmark with my own company. Gradually I grew, but problems with organization came.
Discovering no-code
I started experimenting with Bubble.io, Fillout and Make.com. First prototypes of the internal system.
Birth of Bidmio
The internal DANMAG system became Bidmio - a specialized ERP for construction companies.

So I started building Bidmio – not as a universal ERP, but as a specialized system for field companies. I didn't focus on theory. Everything was tested directly in my own company. Only when we had it fine-tuned did I start offering it to others.

Bidmio is the result of 5 years of iterations, testing, refinement and simplification. Every screen, every button, every feature has its justification.
