Calculator

A price calculator for tradespeople that becomes a quote

The visitor fills metres, rooms or price-list items. The estimate shows immediately. After submit it is an enquiry in Bidmio, and from that a draft quote.

The calculator is not a widget beside an inbox. It sits on the company website or on forms.bidmio, and the answer stays in the same system as the quotes.

    What it calculates

Rooms and square metres, distance from the company, price-list items, a discount and a minimum. The currency is the company currency.

    What stays with the tradesperson

The estimate on the page is not a contract. Approving the enquiry creates a customer and a draft quote with lines. You check the quote.

    Where it lands

The enquiry is in Bidmio, not in an inbox. A double submit stores one enquiry. The calculator does not take payment. Payment is an invoice for the signed work.

Does the visitor need an account?

No. They fill the calculator on the website. The Bidmio account belongs to the company that handles the enquiry.

Is the estimate the final price?

No. It is an estimate while the visitor fills the form. The company confirms the binding quote.

Can it sit on a website I already have?

Yes. On a Bidmio company website it is part of the page. On another website you embed it through the address on forms.bidmio.

    Does the calculator take payment?

No. It collects the job and an estimate. Payment is an invoice in Bidmio.
