Electrical contractor software: the call and the inspection stay on the invoice
Bidmio is electrical contractor software where the call, the inspection and the install are separate money on one job. In the evening you see what is not on an invoice yet. Next year the same customer calls, because the date and the panel photos stayed on them.
In the evening you open what is still not invoiced today. Next year the same customer calls, because the inspection date and the panel photos stayed on them. The first hour of a call you still have not invoiced pays for two or three months of Solo.
€19/mo.
Solo is €19/mo. for at most 2 users. Stock, service visits with a signed protocol, safety and fleet are on Pro (€49/mo.) and the ledger is in Solo.
What the electrician gets
Each point is money or order. Next to it is the thing in Bidmio, named the way you use it on site.
In the evening you see what is not invoiced
You open jobs that have hours and no invoice. That is the sum still inside the firm. Hours and the invoice sit on the same job.
The call and the inspection are their own money
They have their own line on the quote. If the install slips, the drive and the inspection stay on the invoice. One such first hour is more than a month of Solo.
You see which work feeds you
On the job the quote, the hours and the invoice sit side by side. You stop taking the install that looked good on paper once the hours eat it. What the job left in the books is accounting, and that ledger is in Solo.
The apprentice stops being invisible
His hours go on the same job that day. You record one sentence into the time log and confirm it. The job stops looking profitable when two people were on site and one is on the invoice.
Cable from the merchants becomes the customer's
You photograph the receipt that day. Bidmio reads the amount and you confirm the line on the job. On Solo that is an invoice line. Stock and issuing from the van are Pro.
Extras are agreed while the customer is standing there
A new circuit is a line on the same job that day. You send the quote from Bidmio and they see it. On Pro they sign the protocol on site, so Friday has nothing left to argue about.
Next year they call you
The next visit and the panel photos stay on the customer card. The block inspection is another invoice, not a date in a phone that another firm answers.
In the morning you know who is going where
On Pro you see today's calls. The van is not a seven o'clock chat, and the office does not phone to ask where the apprentice is. Each person opens their day on the phone.
You open the customer once
The panel, the last inspection, the last invoice and the documents are on one card. When they call because the breaker on the landing tripped, you know what you fitted last time and you price the call immediately.
The first hour you have been writing off
Solo is smaller than an ordinary call. The first hour that still has no invoice pays for two or three months. The next one is profit. In the 14-day trial you check it on one job.
The quote has two prices, not one lump sum
An electrician's quote. Fold them together and a slipped install eats both the call and the inspection.
The call
An hourly rate and a first hour that includes the drive. You dictate what you found. If the install does not happen that day, you invoice this line on its own.
The install and the inspection
The install has circuits, outlets and the panel. The inspection has its own line: the test and the report for the customer. On Developer the estimating list already has an electrical inspection item. On Solo and Pro you type the line yourself.
How you do it in Bidmio, in electrician's words
The same money, named the way you use it that day.
- 1
Dictate the quote, or let it start from a photo of the panel
Under the field is record, a minute at most, and the text stays in the field. From a photo of the panel Bidmio can draft a quote. The customer gets it only when you send it. The recording itself is not kept after transcription.
- 2
The accepted quote is the job
Phone, address and lines stay. The customer sees the quote. You do not retype it out of the chat.
- 3
On site you record hours, findings and photos
One sentence prepares the time log, a note or the next contact. It is saved when you confirm it. Panel photos stay on the job. So do the apprentice's hours.
- 4
The inspection lives on the customer card
You dictate the findings and store the photos and the report you sign, with the next date. On Pro they sign the protocol on site. The tester stays yours. You enter the numbers.
- 5
The invoice comes from that same job
Lines from the quote, extras, hours and material that has a line. Once a week you open jobs with hours and no invoice. That is the overview.
- 6
The receipt and the books
Bidmio reads a document from email or a photo of the receipt and suggests an account. You confirm the account. The ledger that replaces the old software is in Solo, Pro and Developer. It does not replace the accountant. Payroll is not here.
The investment pays for itself very quickly
Solo is €19/mo.. It is not a percentage in a slide. It is the first hour you do not have on an invoice today.
One first hour
An ordinary call is larger than a month of Solo. The first hour you would have written off pays for two or three months. The next one is profit. You check it on one job during the 14-day trial.
One cable and one inspection
A coil left on a receipt, and an inspection whose date was not on the customer card, are two more invoices. You can put both on a line this week.

Questions electricians actually search
How do I run an electrical inspection in Bidmio?
As a job on the customer card. You dictate the findings, the panel photos stay there, and the report you sign is stored with the next date. On Pro they sign the protocol on site. The invoice comes from that same job. The tester stays yours.
How do recording and the quote work?
Under the field you hit record. It captures at most a minute and fills the quote, the protocol or the hours. A photo of the panel can become a draft quote, a receipt photo an amount and an account. You send and confirm. The recording is not kept afterwards.
How do I quote a rewire or a panel?
Two or three lines: the call with the first hour, the install with circuits and the panel, the inspection with the report. What is not on the quote is not in the price. When the customer says yes, the quote becomes the job.
What do I open in the evening to see where I stand?
Jobs with hours and no invoice. That is money that has not gone out. On one job you see the quote, the hours and the invoice side by side. The ledger is in Solo, Pro and Developer.
Does Bidmio include accounting?
Yes, already in Solo, Pro and Developer. It replaces the old accounting software. Bidmio reads the document and suggests an account, and a person confirms. It does not replace the accountant. Payroll is not here.
What is on Solo, and when do I need Pro?
Solo is for at most two people: quotes, jobs, invoices, photos, documents, hours, recording and a draft quote. Stock, today's calls, a protocol signed on site, safety and fleet are Pro. The ledger is in Solo. Ready-made inspection items are Developer.
