The whole firm

Bidmio is the whole firm, not another program

The quote, the job, the invoice and the books sit on one record. The website and the price estimate have their own pages. Here is what continues from them, and what you can turn off.

This page does not repeat the buying guide or the instructions for the website. It shows the stack the firm stops paying for, and the path from an approved quote to the books.

    Three sentences worth remembering

    Construction firm

Bidmio is all-in for the job, the crew and the books. It is not a fifth program beside the diary and the invoices.

    How to choose a system

    Website and enquiry

The page and the estimate live in Bidmio. A submit becomes an enquiry and a draft quote, not a mail in an inbox.

An estimate that becomes a quote

    The tradesperson's books

The accounting program is included in the subscription. It does not replace the accountant. They can work in the same books.

    What you can turn off

Each row is a type of subscription, not a competitor's price. Named products live on the comparison pages.

    A website on the side

A card someone updates by email stays an island. An enquiry from the Bidmio site is a customer in the same system.

    A site for the trade

    Someone else's calculator

An estimate that lands in another inbox has to be retyped. In Bidmio it becomes a draft quote.

    The calculator in the system

    An invoicing program

The invoice comes from the job. A separate invoicing login is not required.

    Invoicing

    A standalone accounting program

Chart of accounts, journal, bank and VAT are in the subscription. You do not keep a second accounting program beside it.

    Accounting

    A notebook for jobs

Who is on site and what was promised sits on the job. A spreadsheet in three versions stops being the truth.

    Jobs

What happens after the draft quote

The website and the calculator stop at a draft quote. After that it is the same job, not a new program.

    Hours

Time from the phone sits on the job. Margin is not calculated from memory.

    Time tracking

    Invoice

The document comes from the work, not from retyping into another program.

    Invoicing

    Books

The invoice is an entry in the same accounting. An export for a second program is not required.

    Three ways to start

    Sole trader

Start with the quote, the job, the hours and the invoice. Turn the website on when you have work to show.

    For a sole trader

    Construction firm

Jobs, the site diary and the books. BoQ arrives with the larger firm, not on day one.

    Construction firm

    Service firm

Today's visits, material in the van, a protocol and an invoice from signed work. Leave the site diary off.

    Field service

    What Bidmio is not

    An advertising agency

We do not sell campaigns. The website, references and enquiries, yes. A social post shows the photo. The job is caught on the page.

    A payroll bureau

Payroll is in preparation. You cannot run pay in Bidmio today, and it is not part of this chain.

    A replacement for the accountant

The program replaces a standalone accounting package. It does not replace the person who signs the close.

Does this replace a marketing agency?

No. We do not sell campaigns. The website and an enquiry that becomes a quote, yes.

    Does this replace the accountant?

No. It replaces a standalone accounting program. The accountant can work in the same books.

Is payroll part of this chain?

No. Payroll is in preparation. You cannot run it today.
